I thought this picture book was touching, but it read more like poetry and I don't think little ones would understand its message. I think this would be great if it was pitched as illustrated poetry, but as a picture book it's not quite what I expected.

Beautiful story about how all beings are connected. STUNNING artwork and brilliant messages for little ones growing up in a global community

This is an inspirational poem, a reminder to be aware of our bodies, and the ways they connect us to others even as we are unique. The art style is pretty abstract, which fits with the text, but did make the whole story feel very abstract rather than concrete, so some kids won't really get this story...but perhaps it is more aimed towards older kids.

Very emotionally evocative work, both textually and in the illustrations.

I loved the illustrations in this one. They were stunning and done in crayon, it looked like. That was a huge selling point of this book. I didn't love the words though as much. Good theme, but not my favorite. But super fun for those who like looking at awesome illustrations.

Absolutely beautiful, but it feels a little more geared towards an older audience than children.
