I love that Gunn is low-key an internet celebrity.

Not much going on in this issue, but still an enjoyable read. So happy to see Lorne! The Fred stuff was pretty boring, but my brain tends to shut off whenever anything starts to go on and on about a chosen one. Hope it's just a scam that Wolfram and Hart is pulling to get Fred to let them use her powers, but I doubt it.

My Thoughts On: Angel #7

1. Does Fred have some kind of psychic connection to Drusilla? I'm curious to see what happens here.

2. Lilah Morgan alert! If this series can get her and Lilith in the same room, all my dreams will be fulfilled.

3. Wait, does Spike actually dye his hair? Gunn has brought up a pressing question, and now I need to know.

4. I love Lilith so much, but I particularly love Lilith when she refuses to take crap from Spike and shuts him down, reminding him of his place. And Spike's little mumbled apology to her? Perfect.

5. Lilith is not here for Spike's crap, and she clearly sees right through him. "Do something right, for once. That's all I ask. And I'm not asking." Lilith is not a woman I'd ignore, Spike.

6. This entire exchange between Spike and Lilith is gold. "I believe in you, Charles. I used to believe in you, poet. I did warn you about Drusilla." "In a dream! Two hundred years ago! How--" "Still a warning, Spike."

7. Lilah Morgan gives me huge Lilith vibes, but I don't love her here yet. First, I don't know if you should put ice in brandy, and also I think she's a little too smooth a saleswoman for my liking.

8. LORNE! HOW EXCITED I AM TO SEE YOU! AND HAVE YOU MAKE GUNN AND SPIKE SING!

9. Lilah, stop! Fred is not buying the spiel about Angel turning evil again. No one is. Still, this is good writing: "I know you knew what words were in the books before you opened them. Because they spoke to you. I know you have never felt alone. Because you were never alone. I know you pretend to be meek. Confused. Because that makes it easier. To be the rabbit in the grass. But you're not the rabbit-- you're the fox. And the forest is yours."

10. So Wolfram & Hart is some kind of cult now, right? Is that what I'm supposed to be getting from this?
