Frances is a city girl who longs to run free and do things in an area she wouldn't otherwise be allowed to do while living in the city. One day she gets invited to stay with some cousins who live in the country and she absolutely loves her time spent there but she also gains an appreciation for the city and everything she is capable of doing there. She returns home and is welcomed by her family who seemed to miss her and is content with the friendly sights and sounds of home.

Fun take on city vs country. Very bright and colorful and energetic both with text and pictures.

I really enjoyed this! There was no judgement- the book celebrated the country and the city in turn. Great for print awareness, phonological awareness. It has a tone of joy to it.
