This is the third novel of hers that I have read and I just wanna say that she really has become one of my favorite authors.

Her storytelling is really amazing, the way you will have a hard time putting the book down in spite of its length. She also talks about serious issues in a really lighthearted manner. When I am reading her works, I feel like I am just having a chat with someone for comfort.

But maybe because this is her first work that she had trouble with the ending. I felt like the story was a bit dragged out in the end. Nevertheless, I still love her smalltown tales and will definitely continue reading all of them.

It was a great read, i found myself completely drawn in but the ending was a bit of a disappointment, to me it seemed a bit of a cop out. still all the best to elizabeth and aisling.

Hmm, two of Maeve Binchy’s books that I found too boring to finish
