I really liked this follow up to the first book. There's just something fun about dinosaurs!

dnf at like 54%. the first one was so exciting, thrilling and a fun read; this one is just so hard to get through. :/

Michael Crichton never disappoints... his books are chock-full of action and information, but he doesn't skimp on character development either. After reading the two Jurassic Park novels back-to-back, I did find this one to be an easier read... maybe because I was already primed for an intelligent novel, but also maybe because this one didn't focus as heavily on the biological sciences, and more on the psychology of the dinosaurs. Either way, another great read.

My favorite aspect of these books of course is Ian Malcolm, but I really loved the addition of Sarah Harding in this one. I kept seeing her as Carrie Coon in my head.
