I really enjoy Miller's writing style but I could not for the life of me get in to this book! I struggled reading it for weeks and finally decided to just DNF it.

This novel is simply beautiful. A strong, complexe female protagonist and a complicated slew of supporting characters. I couldn’t put it down. A must read for anyone who loves mythology and graceful storytelling.

I’ve been waiting so incredibly long for this book and my god.. not for a second did it disappoint me. As a GLTC(Greek and Latin) student I have read many many many fictional books in the pov of a mythological/historical figure but I never finish them because they’re either way too predictable or way too slow, but man.. she has this writing style I just cannot put down!! Everything follows smoothly and soundlessly!
No one but Miller can make an exile for eternity into a thrilling story.
