Tyler and Beth grew up together and were each other's first and only love. They even had the same dreams for the future. Until one day they didn't.
Tyler had to get away from the small town life where everyone knew your business and try to make it on his own. So Tyler sets off on the road for bigger and better leaving Beth behind with only a note. A year and a half later, he's back in town and still in love with Beth.
The Cowboy Comes Home takes you on a journey of two life-long lovers trying to find their way back to each other. At first I started out being upset with Tyler for the way he left Beth, but after learning more about him and getting his side of the story, I started to soften toward him. I was really looking forward to them working it out and getting their happily ever after.
This was a steamy read, but not overly so. It is the first book I've read by Roni Adams, but I look forward to reading more by her.
