Fantastic artwork and a neat stealth Batman and Robin story with some lovely warm moments. Brisk with nice dialogue. But I never really like twisting the potential of Freeze from a good guy; he’s one of the few rogues gallery that could be doing something altruistic so to change that whenever that happens feels inauthentic.

I don't know how I feel about Mr. Freeze characterization, but the story was good. I especially enjoyed Robin.

Robin was easily the best part of this comic but I also liked the Christmas setting and a more fleshed out Nora Fries with a bit more agency.
i have mixed feelings about Mr Freeze's characterization but this was still an enjoyable read.

I think Gerry Duggan might be the most mediocre writer alive. Nothing I've read by him has been anything more than average or competent or acceptable. And this is no exception. Bland writing. Thin characterization. Odd choices that strike me not as fascinating in their oddity, but rather clumsy. All three stars I'm giving this are for Matteo Scalera's art, which is somehow even better than his work in Black Science. Scalera has the opportunity to be an all-timer if he continues to set himself the challenge
