When Deane found out about Verity and Julian and their connection to Ramsey, it could have turned out so much differently if he hadn't followed his gut and just obeyed orders. Verity and Julian had no idea of Riley's existence at first, but welcomed him with open arms and a lot to teach him about being a kinder vampire. It was fascinating to know that there is someone out there that even Lycos feared. Emory and Julian were two peas in a pod when it came to their sense of humor. I loved finding out the story behind what triggered Deane to have two forms. I can't wait for Emory's story and the mysterious people who keep popping up.
