Interesting enough memiors about living as a child on a the titular prison island where their parents work. Interesting enough. The art isn't super detailed but is serviceable.

The art style here was cute, but the story itself was less about her time growing up on the island, and more about her family revisiting once it'd been shut down.

Colleen Frakes was an island brat growing up: she and her family lived on the last prison that was only accessible via boat or plane, and of course her parents worked there as well. Now she’s older and the prison is closing down for good. What was once her life will now become distant memories.

a memoir walk through of two girls who lived on a prison island. I've never even thought that people would be living on the island along with inmates. so it was an interesting viewpoint I'd never heard before. I enjoyed the art. everyone was cute and diverse characters were shown.
