I wish this had been a full novel - I think there was a lot of unexplored potential. Still, a fresh and interesting take on young women accidentally summoning a vengeful spirit.

This book needed either a better plot development or a better character development. It wasn’t bad, though. I just have 212 books in my TBR so I didn’t feel like finishing something I wasn’t excited about.

this reminded me a lot of jennifer's body and my best frien's exorcism, which i both love!! i really loved this coming of age infused with indigenous and mexican culture and body horror... the writing was also so gorgeous and feminist, i just wish it was longer and developped even more!!
