first of all... the trope of "let's act like we are a couple for shits and giggles and then we somehow end up falling in love with each other" is... amazing. i do think the plot is cute, however i wish it would've been a bit more natural in the beginning. i feel like things happened so quickly. and it's so funny too because the characters will act so shy and insecure and be like "omg no they will think i'm crazy

This was better than the first!! I really liked the mental health representation in this one and found that I could relate a lot to the feelings present in both Dani and Zaf. I'm also a sucker for good fake dating, and this felt believable. More excited to read Eve's story now, although my biggest complaint is I SO wish that Hibbert would go more into the Brown family as a whole/the background of all the girls because for this being a "sister" trilogy, I as a reader know essentially nothing about this family and it's been bothering me the whole time.
