The thing about Aaron Dries that sets him apart from many authors is that every single thing he writes makes you feel emotions so deeply. This collection is a perfect example of that. It touches on so many different topics and every story is hauntingly beautiful. The short stories Cut to Care and Damage, Inc really spoke to me on a deep level. A great reminder that if you are only filling other’s cups and ignoring your own, eventually your cup will run dry while theirs are overflowing. Balance is key. Burnout is real. Self care is important.
