This is my favorite series, it just gets better and better. Great characters, great action, great tongue-and-cheek humor, and the best cameos (Man-Thing) and references (Duck World).

The only thing is the art, I preferred the way Jen Walters and Pug were drawn in previous issues.

A funny, knowing, and entertaining conclusion to Slott's run, that'll appeal to any moderate-to-big fan of the Marvel Universe, and is clear enough for newcomers as well. The conclusion of #19 made me laugh far too much.

I read a lot of the run as it was coming out (but still haven't caught up with the first two TPBs) and certainly enjoyed it then, too, but having caught up with the end, I worry about the slut-shaming and the dancing around Civil War/World War Hulk. Still, fun, and I'm glad Slott has gone on to be the premier Spider-Man writer of the 2010s, with the success of Superior Spider-Man and such.

Burchett and Rathbone are great artists, and capture this mix of classic superheroing with the cartoony humour well. I see they're re-releasing the entire run in two volumes this year, so if you're interested, perhaps go with that.
