I was nervous to see a new writer on Cap, since some of them really don't know their history and think he'd be a completely different kind of person on top of that.
This is another run where I feel like they get it. They did their research, and they understand. Seeing information about the Bund party, the marches, the rallies, the persecution in the states, the buzzwords pulled right from history books... and Steve's reactions to all of it. How he unites people by being kind, and good, and how who he is, the strength of his character is what makes him a hero.
Not a good soldier, but a good man.
