I enjoyed the book. Be prepared for nearly non-stop action with a lot of violence and gore. However, it was written in a way that I was able to develop a strong rapport with the main character and several of the supporting characters. This was my first book in this series. I intend to read others as time allows.

I wanted a bit of mindless nonsense to lose myself in. This was a bit Die Hard like. All action, non stop. Definitely counted as distraction.
