I picked this series up from the author at C2E2 this year. It's taken me forever to get around to reading it, but I'm so glad I picked it up! Such an interesting premise and very diverse characters. I'm so excited to see how the rest of the series unfolds!

Every so often I go through a stage of reading a lot of comics or graphic novels. Having Scribd, I thought I should check out some of the titles available and came across Memetic. It's an end of the world scenario brought about by a sloth meme. It sounded hilarious.
Unfortunately I really didn't get on with this. The illustration style by Eryk Donovan is perfect for the story, however the story itself is much darker than I was expecting. If you're okay with violence in your graphic novels, this may be more your cup of tea, but for me this was just too much.
2 out of 5 stars!

Given the premise (an online meme image causes a zombie apocalypse) I should've rolled my eyes into my spine, but this was surprisingly engaging.
