“the wind consumed me; and i became it.

i became the fury.”

~ ♡ 3/5

writing style was not my favourite thing, was not expecting the first plot-twist, and the second was sort of predictable but i didn’t expect who died.

overall, it was an okay book but i won’t be jumping out of my seat to talk about it.

I was cautiously optimistic for this book, as I really enjoyed The Silent Patient, and I was not disappointed. Without spoiling it, this book managed to portray the unveiling of a mad man through his own eyes. Whenever I was feeling slightly bored with the story, I was always surprised by the turn of events on the next page. It was one of the most unique thrillers I’ve read and I really think that Alex Michaelides is paving a new path in this genre.
