Enjoyable, though not as magical as the first book in my opinion (a lot of it has to do with Anne growing up and losing some of her childish tendencies that made her so lovable). I did like seeing Anne learning to reconcile her romantic notions with the challenges of the real world. You can always easily see where the stories of the side characters will go, but L.M. Montgomery's storytelling is so nice that the predictability isn't a detriment. Once again, Karen Savage's narration was perfect.
