Another great short story in the Orphan X series. This one went further into the life of Joey. It helped me understand her better.

I was looking forward to this Orphan X novella because it is centered on the character of Joey, whom I love in the Orphan X books. But this read like a cheesy book that was dashed off quickly. There’s just not much to it.

Great little short story with Joey as the main character. We get some insight into the private world of the Nowhere man. I am really hooked on this series. Sadly I found the story to short, but I have an arc of the next full lenght novel and are really looking forward to reading it.

Maybe the synopsis hypes it up a little too much but nonetheless I really enjoyed it, it’s great to have a story from Joey’s perspective that focuses on her life because she is indeed a badass character as well, and her interactions with X are gold. I can’t wait for Prodigal Son!

Even for a short story this was way too short. I'd like to see Mr. Hurwitz give Joey Morales a few books of her own.
