Agatha Christie's truly brilliant mind is showcased in this collection of 13 short stories, each one an account of a perplexing crime with an unexpected perpetrator revealed by a well written plot.

In a comfortable, homely setting, the armchair detectives in "The Tuesday Night Club" (a diverse group including an artist, a writer, an actress, a solicitor, a clergyman , a doctor, a gardener, a retired constable, and the loveable Miss Marple) take turns recounting and attempting to solve mysterious crimes they were witness to.

Book sixteen in my personal read through of Agatha Christie in publication order!

While this one wasn't 'five stars, blew my mind' it was just a perfectly cozy and pleasant read, the epitome of what I want on a rainy or snowy day to go with a cup of something warm. Also, I just love Miss Marple.

A solid 3 stars.

It’s more of a short story collection than an actual book, if that makes sense, but I really enjoyed it! Each chapter could be made into their own story and be very effective.

That being said, it wasn’t groundbreaking, or particularly clever. So I enjoyed it, but don’t go into it expecting a big twist.

It's a lovely book for a quick read. It's less easy to guess the murderers yourself in this book, due to how the stories are told. Now and then the names are a tad confusing as well. Don't expect too much of it, and you'll probably enjoy it.

The Tuesday Club Murders is a collection of short Miss Marple mysteries. A group of people form the Tuesday Club, and take it in turns to present a mystery to which only they know the answer. The rest have to work it out - and Miss Marple surprises everyone.

This was a light, fun, and well-crafted book. I'm excited to get into the Miss Marple books now!
