I really enjoyed this book. I liked progressive, thoughtfully spunky Fara and her socks. Would definitely give to middle-grade readers. This is a better-than-average school-and-friendship story, largely because of its fun, quirky premise.

A cute book, with a nice cast of characters who start the novel in 5th grade and finish it in 6th. Parts of it were a bit too punny, with the sock jokes getting old, but overall a lighthearted read.
