This was an adorable short story about a dog who pretends to be El Chupacabra (because he is such and ugly dog) so he can be accepted into a town of animals. It was a free kindle book.

I forgot I had this book, and, as I'm trying desperately to reach my reading challenge by the end of the year, I decided to pick this up.
The heart of the story is good - let people know the real you inside, not outward appearances. However, parents will not like the choice of certain words, as they are too close to real "blue" words. My frosted, pedantic side feels that the author should have had someone read this through, as some words were incorrect ("viscous" for "vicious" is a glaring example, and it was not a typo, as it showed up more than once).
