I really enjoyed this cozy mystery. I'm not into Tarot cards but it didn't change my opinion of the book. I loved how the animals communicated with each other and how the read got to see the story from their point of view along with the main human character. I think pet lovers will love this book especially cat lovers.

Ophelia and Brandon, the Tarot Cats, star in this this intriguing mystery told from a feline point of view. They’re removed from their home when their late owner’s son moves in, and both wind up in new situations. Ophelia lands in the house of a fortune teller, and Brandon in a pawn shop. Together the sibs unravel the mystery of what happened to their person.

It took me a bit to get into this book as I was working under the assumption that it could be a sort of follow up to the previous Ali Brandon's series.
I was wrong and I'm happy about it.
This is a wonderful book, a book that requires a suspension of belief as it's mystery where the heroes are two cats and a dog.
They are wonderful, well developed, quirky and lovely. The human counterpart, Ruby, is a bit underveloped even if she's lovely and likeable.
I loved how the plot was developed, how the animals interact amongst them and with their humans.
A lovely, enjoyable and entertaining book.
I look forward to reading the next instalment and I cannot wait to read again about Ophelia, Brandon and Zuki and to see what will be next in Ruby's life.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Midnight Ink and Netgalley for this ARC
