This is a continuation of the story started in the previous book, The Shrine' and has the most dramatic ending to date, involving the race to save one of the key characters, who I am sure followers of the series will have become invested in. I will say no more!

What a way to end the year! LJ Ross has done it again, as usual, as always! I’m so glad I chose this as my last book of the year. I don’t think I will ever get tired of the DCI Ryan stories, each one is perfect in its own way and the world she has created for this cast of lovable characters is immense!
Cuthberts Way follows on from The Shrine perfectly with a rich involvement of local history alongside the heart pumping chase to bring a criminal to justice. I adore history and reading about my local history through the stories Ross gives us is now one of my favourite things. I won’t delve into the plot anymore than I have to because I’d hate to ruin the suspense for anyone. In simple terms, this series just gets better and better!!
I’m very patiently waiting for Ross’ next masterpiece and can’t wait to see what beautiful stories she creates for us in the future.
