Continuity error. The alpha manics moved the treasure in book two so the map that the greedy pirates have would be wrong. Another thing I have noticed is the double ending. You hit something that should be a great ending to the story, but then another page is thrown in to get ready for the next book in the series. But then when you start the next book, things do not always correctly align. I have seen this in both book 3 and book 4.
