Book 2 of the spinoff series. Set about 100 years after the original series, you could read this without having read that but why would you?
Was a fast pace for a book 2 so I am expecting great things in book 3. As with Gwynnes previous serious it seems each book gets even better. Great characters, great world build. Amazing fight scenes and gasp worthy twists!

All I can say is, John Gwynne is the man! He once again crafted an incredible story that I can’t get enough of! The characters are amazing, the writing is so vivid, and the action is unmatched. I loved this book, and I cannot wait to read the final book from the Banished lands!
