Dreams of Stardust was a mostly fluffy love story that introduced me to the series by Lynn Kurland, and I enjoyed it a lot, but it doesn't make my top five favorites by any means. It was good enough, but I like a slightly different flavor of story better.

You should really try reading Kurland's books! She is wonderful at romance with no smutt. And after reading them, count yourself lucky you were not the one who got sucked into the past without chocolate! =)

This was my first time travel romance by Lynn Kurland and it did not disappoint! As always, Lynn Kurland creates a lovable cast of characters. I loved the interactions of the de Paiget family just as much as I love the romance between Amanda and Jake. Lynn Kurland excels at building relationships and it makes her work so enjoyable to read. The romance was excellent, the plot fun and the character development superb. Will definitely be reading more in this series!

It's very weird to me that the locations of Seakirk and Artane, both apparently in the north of England, are described as if they're quite close to each other, but it takes characters 3 hours by car or 3 days on horseback to make the trip, which would mean at least 200 miles. It's as if the author thinks England is much larger than it is or she has no sense of scale whatsoever.

Anyway, it's a reasonably entertaining story.
