I’m not always a fan of just smut and no plot but it’s unavoidable when it’s a one night stand and a novella. I am intrigued for Pucking Around and how Jake and Rachel reconnect! I’m a sucker for a hockey romance so I don’t see how I won’t like it! 😄

Sooo good! Super short, fun, and spicy novella that has me itching to read the first book!

Great smutty novella! Exactly what I was looking for! Quick read but really got you invested in the characters can't wait to read the rest of the series!

A fun novella. Lots of spice! Looking forward to seeing how it continues in Pucking Around.

this is a one shot with no plot but it isn’t bad overall. i just wouldn’t read it again unless specific circumstances and even then a maybe. it’s under 100 pages and very low commitment. i mainly picked the book up bc i was wanting to read the main series but it said to start with the prequel and i was also sad and bored. would not recommend unless you often read books of this genre, and even then i wouldn’t recommend there’s better content for free to read (iykyk). but that is not to say that i didn’t enjoy my time with the book. the mmc and the fmc had chemistry but the characters didn’t display any humanity(?) they were very 2D and shallow (the book is less than 100 pgs so there literally is no room for actual character development). the writing was okay, nothing crazy and there were moments where i cringed at the dialogue but that is expected with works like this. it’s very wattpad-esque which is part of its appeal.

overall thoughts: cringe, but not a bad time to spend 1-2 hours
