A collection of short stories, the standout being the title story. It was the basis for the movie The Arrival. That story alone is a five star and worth getting the book for. The remainder of the short stories were all over the place, so subtracted one from the rating. The author certainly doesn't see the world like the rest of us and can get that down on paper.
