I loved reading about these brave airmen! This book was packed full of facts and information, but it also told an inspiring story of the Black men who stood up to racism in order to fight for our country in WWII. A great history book for kids and adults alike, and a quick 1-hour read.

Wonderful read.

The history of racism is heart breaking and makes me grateful for the progress we have. I realize there are still haters out there; I'm glad the hate is not built into our institutions any more.

The Tuskegee Airmen were brave pilots and heroes. May they always be remembered for their service to our country.

Excellent short history of the extremely accomplished Tuskegee Airmen -- book does a great job explaining unfamiliar terms as it goes along, without losing the thread of the story.

So informative with necessary comments on racism experienced by black pilots & others in the armed forces, backed with research. Excellent addition to my class library.
