I have to admit that I discovered that I'm not really made for series that go on this long. Of course, when you look at just this trilogy it's just a trilogy, but I've been reading all the books in the interconnected world and it's starting to get a little complicated to keep everything apart. However, I was still very happy when my arc for this book came in. Mostly because I was really curious how this mess was gonna be solved.

It takes a while for this book to really get going and yet it's never boring. The characters are spending a lot of time exploring hell, meeting characters we've already met in previous books set in this world and of course they're learning to master their powers in this book. But from the moment our heroine met her teacher and really started learning the story became one big rollercoaster filled with reveals, twists and danger.

I really love how the author explains the existence of angels, demons and Greek Gods. I also love how much power the author actually gives humanity in this book, even though they're not really aware of that power. I also really enjoyed the Greek Mythology influences and how this was once more a book where Zeus finally gets what he should have gotten millennia ago already. I will never get bored of Zeus getting what he deserves.

I also realized while reading the epilogues how beautiful the message in this book actually is. Our heroine is literally embodying hope. She's the light in the darkness. She's faith in yourself when everything seems hopeless. She's finding a way when there seems to be none. And she's also the promise that no matter what in the end hope will always be stronger than everything else in this world. And one is only lost, when one has lost hope.

Great ending to the series!

First off, this series… but especially this book, puts such a unique spin onto Pandora’s box! As a mythology lover, it spoke to my soul! Loved it!

It was great watching Alex and her guys finally settle into their family fully in this last book. Getting their fears out on the table to work on together.

The spice was great too.

This series as a whole is something that I really enjoyed, but I feel like this last book needed to be longer. The end of the story seemed very rushed, especially for all of the buildup throughout over the final battle. Overall, a decent storyline, and the ending of this series was a bit better than the Blood Oath series within the same realm. I’m probably going to continue in this world as I love the connecting story lines.

Sad to see it end

I absolutely love the world of DIA. I was so sad to finish Alinas story, and now Alexandra's story. I love how Alexandra grew from a timid, quiet girl to the confident woman she was at the end. I love the relationship she has with her monsters and I love the way they developed. The spice is absolutely perfect. The details,

Monsters Above is the third and final book in the The Creatures We Crave series. This cannot be read as a standalone!

What an epic showdown! I was hooked on this series from the very beginning. Alex, Lucien, Kylo and Elwin have been through so much during this series. Not only that, the character development and worldbuilding was soooo good! Alex's confidence that radiated off the pages was truly inspiring. The guys settled their differences and they all truly became one. As always, this was such a satisfying ending to this series and can't wait for the next series RL Caulder comes up with!!

This is the conclusion I was waiting for. I was waiting for more story and answers and this book delivered. While I liked book two, I found it was more about the characters than the story. This book was a good balance between the two.

Somehow, there was even more world building, even though it’s part of a rather large interconnected book world. Yet, it worked and had me even more intrigued. I loved the addition and spin on classic Greek mythology as well.

The epilogue is all about hope and it just made my heart happy. While this series is over, there is more to come in this world and I cannot wait.

I liked this book, but it took me some time to get back into the story. I recommend to read them in order and in one go, since it’s one story in three books.

I loved this whole series. It is so different than anything else. I love R.L Clauder and everything she writes but she really finished this series amazingly. I love how Alexandra was able to find herself and believe in her hope. She was able to overcome her internal battles to be the curse she was meant to be. I love her relationship with her guys and the relationship she was able to foster with Alma and Zurie as well. I just really enjoyed this book.
