Great to see Simon piecing together his memories! The characters' unique interests, from sci-fi references to classic literature, add a fun layer to the story. Tobias Herondale's tale was particularly captivating.

THIS Is SO GOOD IM SCREAM ING oh my god!!!!!!
William HERONDALE,,,,,, will's grandfather was named will as well???? Oh god oh god oh god oh god I want to die I love Tobias herondale so much I want him married to me I want him to be alive and real and happy,,, although I'm such a traitor,,no love the shadowhunter rules and law and all the old ways and stuff,,,, that's probably really dumb but AH

AND VALENTINE WAS MENTIONED IN THIS BOOK!! I don't get why he was mentioned in a negative light (ok I do get why) bUT he's so gorgeous and Jon is SO annoying he's ruining the names of Jonathans everywhere. ...

Seriously?!?! Can the Herondale line not get a break!! Have they not be through hell and back literally!! I hope Jace finds out someday about this. Poor Simon! Each story just shows how he is struggling with who he was and who he is now.

“Like all Herondales, his ability to love without measure, without end, was both his great gift and his great curse.”

Another enjoyable Novella, however, this one wasn't as gripping as the first one. But I am having such a fun time following Simon.

Poor Tobias :'((
Also, this makes me cry like a lot, I've never thought the process in which Simon gets back his memories was that painful but it wouldn't make sense if it wasn't.
