I feel like this series has gotten a little repetitive honestly and I was getting bored of it, but the last two chapters were a lot more interesting to me because we got some character backstories and interactions that wasn’t just fighting.

I love where the series is going with Clare &co. and the insanity of the Clarice and Miata duo. I feel like it's getting more and more complex and interesting.

I continue to love this fun series about half monster half human warriors who are beginning to find the strength within them to defy the rules they were raised within to investigate their wider world.

Really getting better! Clare is really witty, and definitely way stronger than she was before..

Audrey (rank #3) and Rachel (rank #5) are fighting against Riful of the West and the squad of the surviving Claymores come to help them before they get killed or in worst case, before they get awakened in order to join Riful’s plans.

Riful gives Clare information about the other Creatures of the Abyss so she would become her ally because she can read yoma power and apparently that’s a skill she needs to defeat Isley and Priscilla. Still, Clare only considers to join her side and when the time comes, the squad runs away before Riful can get to them.

On the other hand, we have Miata (rank #4), a young yet powerful Claymore of the new generation that is on a mission to get Galatea’s head along with Clarice (current rank #47).

This volume was a bit less interesting than the previous ones because it feels like it’s all over the place with the timelines but I hope the next one gets better.

Things were a little weird in this one, but I like the direction it’s going! Looking forward to reading the next volume!
