Contact is a science-fiction novel from the scientist Carl Sagan. Sagan's non-fiction books are excellent at describing the Universe, evolution, and various other topics. However, this novel does not stand out as exceptional within its genre. I mostly enjoyed technical passages in the book. Certain passages were tedious and dull, particularly those involving debates between science and religion. Overall, I don't consider Contact to be very superior sci-fi. Four stars because I am a sci-fi fan :-)

It’s slow and complicated at times. For a novel it’s very deep and I didn’t have time to read a slow book. Maybe one day I will go back and keep reading it. Honestly, I just watched the movie
