This was a Goodreads.com give away. The authors co-wrote this collection and all the poems are credited to both authors. Some seem to be written from his perspective and others from hers. Theses poems deal with all aspects of marriage from early courtship to parenthood and death. You will not find a sentimental or romanticized view of matrimony here. The authors have a taste for the darker side of life. The symbolism and meaning behind half of these poems was lost on me. Others resonated with me and caused me to reread them.
