DNF.I personally found that the author used a vast amount of words that I was not familiar with.

DNF. I can not believe I read 230 pages without a single interesting thing happening

Interesting premise. I enjoyed What the Dead Know a little more, but Lippman didn't disappoint here.

I was really hoping this was a great book. But it was just ok. Won't rush to read another book of her's.

i picked this one up as a "7-day express" at the library and finished it this morning...very good read! it kept me guessing up until the end and i really liked the format of the book...plus, i enjoy how the local spots are incorporated into the story as another character...

Laura Lippmanās novel kept my interest and was well written. I would rate it as better than average without being terrific.

I couldn't even finish this one. Should have checked it out through the library instead of buying it. Ironic that Lippman has written a book that mimics the career enlightening failure written by her main character.
