The book was a somewhat heavy read, from the start when she received the news of her schoolmate passing away, to her comforting her grieving friend, to her growing problems between her mum and her, and her experiencing her first and fast paced romance.

It was almost dragging. A medium sized book could've taken me a shorter time to read but I couldn't connect to any of the characters and I was just waiting for things to turn around. Not one of the best YA books I've read so far.

It's amazing all the things I didn't notice in 2007. Still one of my favorite books from when I was a teenager, but I don't know if I'll ever read it again.
