Growing up in a Russian orphanage wasn't even the worst things that Dimitri has seen in his life after he left there he joined the military and was sent into some very ugly situations. He has been watching over and caring for Benny and her families bakery for 5 years now.

Benny (Benita) has been left her families bakery, as well as the financial mess that came with it. Benny is also all the family her 19 year old brother has unless you count the gang he has gotten involved with. She has had a crush on Dimitri for a long time but always felt he was out of her league.

Dimitri and Benny have the benefit of starting their relationship with the basis of 5 years of friendship. Dimitri is right there to step in and help the woman he loves when she is in over her head with debts, real estate developers and her brother and his gang. Demitri shows Benny that she can let go of her control with someone she trusts and allows her to experience some amazing things with a light dose of BDSM and kink.

FINALLY a book that I enjoyed as much as Ivan.

LOVED Dimitri...LOVED Benny...LOVED the sexy times. The plot flowed nicely and I never felt the need to skim.

Benny was so frustrating to me. She had to be in control and got mad every time Dimitri tried to help her. The problem, is her life was messed up bad, which means she wasn't doing a good job at all. She would get mad at Dimitri even if she was protecting her. Don't get me started on her degenerate brother she couldn't keep on the straight and narrow.

After Ivan’s story, I was pleasantly surprised by Dimitri’s book. It follows the love story between him and Benny (Benita), who he has loved for years. You are introduced to them in the first book. The story picks up pretty much right as Ivan finishes. Benny’s business is in major financial trouble and her brother is off running with the Hermanos gang and making life even more difficult for her. Dimitri insists on helping her at every turn, and one night after a particularly trying day, Dimitri finally gets her on a date. The story builds from there. A nasty real estate agent goes after Benny like a shark and Benny’s brother gets into a nasty mess. Through it all Dmitri tries to help her, even calling in his brothers to get them out of some really nasty scrapes. It is actually a great love story and I thought much better than the first book. There is just as many sex scenes in this book, and quite a bit of kink as well, but the story is also much longer. All in all, pretty well done.

I really liked the first book, but this was a forced finish. I just couldn't find the motivation or the hook into the story. I don't think I'll finish the series.

Dimitri is adorable, big huge teddy bear that is not afraid to hurt you if you hurt our heroine Benny.

This is definitely not as dark as a lot of mafia reads out there, both MC’s are incredibly loyal to eachother.
