Nothing too original here; my favorite part is always seeing Splat's expressions. I had the narrated Kindle version, and found the voices somewhat annoying; I even turned down the sound. And, yes, I currently have an overdue library book somewhere in my house that I cannot find.

Splat experiences some serious panic over his late library book (will they put him in jail? will they make him walk the plank???) but it all works out okay.

I read this for the "Book In A Series" part of my 2020 reading challenge. It was really cute, I liked how panicked Splat got over the library fine, and his little mugshot.
