The story is not bad but the translation is awkward at times and gives the impression it was written by a middle school kid.

When a tall and handsome stranger came to Pembrose from London, he stirred up some trouble for the town and right in the middle of the town's annual celebration at that. Minerva and her friends from The Order of the Owls, Ravi and Thomasina had to save the town from this troublemaker stranger. I loved how resourceful the children were and how they each had a role to play and contributed actively in solving the mysteries which strengthened their friendship bonds and developed their characters. Elisa Puricelli Guerra's writing is clear and lighthearted and brings me such joy. The story unfolds beautifully and the characters, even the newly introduced ones in this book just win my heart over and over. 5 stars for this lovely book and a definite recommendation.
