The Wedding Deal is a workplace romance with a bit of an enemies to lovers thing going. Because nothing says conflict of interest like...well, I can't say because I was forced to sign a NDA. 😉

You see, our heroine, is sassy, feisty, and the head of Human Resources. So any pertinent information I have about this book and the characters in it can not be disclosed. I can not in good conscience, or financially, tell you anything about the Mustangs, their staffing issues, or the actual Wedding Deal. Nope. Legally, I am bound not to disclose the tension filled lusty moments between boss and employee. I also have nothing to contribute to any conversation, accusations, or rumors about players being added, coaching staff, or other prominent parties.

So if your looking for the scoop, you'll just have to sign the NDA (also known as one-click) and read it for yourself!

I thought this was a pretty good read! Fake relationships turned real are one of my favorite types of stories! The writing flowed well for the most part, although I did have to put it down and come back to it about half way through. I thought Lance was a good guy, but he did have his hang ups about trusting anyone. Charlotte's hang ups about following the rules got tedious after awhile. Every time anything came up, there were forms and sections of the handbook mentioned. It would have been okay mentioned a few times, not every chapter. I thought that Lance and Charlotte were good together when they could both let go of their pasts. The ending was super sweet, and loved that it fit in so well with the story. I would definitely read more books from this author.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

This is a fun, entertaining read. Lance and Charlotte are interesting, relatable, intriguing, entertaining, captivating characters. They captured my attention from the very beginning and held it until the very end. I enjoyed their romance and the path they took to their HEA. I especially loved how the story ended – it was soooo them. I loved the family dynamic of the story. The various secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and my enjoyment.

I enjoyed the audio version of this story and the narrator.

Would have been 4 stars if the climax of the book was handled a little better, other than that this book was amazing. The best part, though, was that both our protagonists had a good head on their shoulders and had their priorities straight, which is such a rarity in romance books!

Football romance but on the business side of things ooooooh yes please. I absolutely ADORE the female lead in this one ~ Charlotte is my hero.

I have mixed feelings about this book. There were definitely parts that I enjoyed. There were times that just didn’t flow. I had trouble connecting. The hero seemed like a hunk. I like how family was a big part of his story. I could usually relate to the heroine. I just felt myself not being interested in parts, like the daddy drama. I don’t know why. It was an ok read.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

I have enjoyed many Cindi Madsen YA titles in the past, so when I saw she had a sports romance book coming out, I couldn't wait to read it. I found it to be so funny with fantastic banter, and SO SWEET! I loved the chemistry between Lance and Charlotte, and since I married a college football player, I always enjoy a sport-heavy story. And Madsen definitely knows her football! It was fun to read about what happens behind the scenes during the draft.

While I enjoyed the abundance of (accurate) sports talk in The Wedding Deal, I didn’t really care about the two main characters getting together. I wish they would have had more serious and heartfelt moments where I could really see them connect. However, I was overly excited about reading a sports romance where the author actually knew the sport she was writing about. Some may find it a little football heavy, but as the characters ran a pro football team, I felt it appropriate to so centered on it.

I received an advanced copy through Netgalley in return for an honest review.
