Very funny short piece about a dog narrating his life story with commentary by another dog with a framing narrative about a soldier who overheard them while getting the sweating treatment for syphilis.
Translation was good overall except a few oddities like "talking trash".

Maybe it wasn't THAT slow but it sure as heck felt slow for being this short! Wasn't the worst story I've ever read but I wouldn't read it again. Felt like the story dragged on and on; I suppose I'm just not a fan of this style of writing – very descriptive and filled with opinions of the 'dogs'. I did like how many different things the dogs discussed and hearing their opinions, even if I didn't agree with them, and it was kind of funny to see the dogs saying "don't judge people! It's not right!" multiple times during the stort yet still they keep on judging (be it accidentally or deliberately). I also enjoyed the twist at the very end~
