Some interesting ideas. Quite slow moving though, and the motivations and motives of the villains were really confusing and a bit messed up. I wasn't convinced by the story and only really finished it because I wanted to know what was happening with the hobs, but even that wasn't resolved satisfactorily.
An altogether ok book, but not something that I'd go out of my way to read again.
