This is a rather hit or miss short story collection, the main issue is that sometimes it just expects you to know who these pulp characters are despite no-one caring about them, and in one story they neglect to mention that 2 of the characters are monkeys!
It also features some of the most blatant copyright infringement I've seen which isn't really a problem, it just makes me wonder why they keep trying to be subtle with how Doctor Omega is meant to be Doctor Who when they even tell you at the back-page of the book who made these original characters such as the space baby "Kal-L" and "Bat-Man".
