Maybe 3.5. It was a lovely story. I will go one to read the other 2 book. Just what I needed I quick little happy story. I want my fairy godmothers to start meddling a little more.

I really wanted to love this one because well Fairy Godmothers in an adult romance just hits a few boxes for me. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the characters in this...which that's the main reason to read a romance outside of, well, the romance. Super bummed out.

I received an ecopy of this book via Netgalley; however, my opinions are my own.

A fairy tale retelling always peaks my interest. I picked up book one with the hopes that it would match the magic and adorableness of [b:Enchanted, Inc.|603398|Enchanted, Inc. (Enchanted, Inc., #1)|Shanna Swendson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388469170l/603398._SY75_.jpg|589968]. It did not have any similar storyline or theme. Fairy Godmothers, Inc. has modern day magic with fairy tale creatures, but it also throws in language, cheating, and some open door romance. I'll re-read Enchanted, Inc for modern day magic and a cute couple.

Reviewed from a library copy.

I tried to continue but after the 2h streek where the explicit scenes got worse I just could not.
The story was not what I expected and very, veey predictable. Not my cup of tea.

I really wanted to like this book but it was a struggle to get through. I was trying to figure out if it was trying to be a rom-com parody or just a really bad plot line full of awful tropes. Really lost me at the fixation on accidental anal sex being the worst thing ever and being something that would follow someone forever and ruin their lifeā€¦
