The way certain groups of people are portrayed in this book was painful and disheartening, if not expected from an author like James Patterson. This one left a sour taste in my mouth. 3 stars only because I enjoy the crimes and pacing.

When I found out what the title of this book meant, wow! I can't seem to get enough of this series! It's so addictive !!
The murder cases were great as well but I loved how this book showed how much the are asked to prioritise high-profile cases. The death of a celebrity, even a minor one, will always get more time and resources put into it rather than the death of a homeless man.
As I asked for!!!! We got more of Cindy in this book and I was so happy for her!! Reporters are sometimes judged harshly by their job for being hawks and just wanting to get stories out. But Cindy showed that there are some out there ther still care about the community and want to get to the bottom of things.
One thing I ask for, can Lindsay stop whinning and thinking everything is about her? I could deal with it in the first one or two books but now irs just getting annoying! Why on earth she is soo hang up on Rich I do not understand when she literally has the Italian Stallion in her bedroom! Girl, please !! Get a grip!!
I think I will finally give this series a little break! Maybe two or three books in between because I'm now starting to get the storylines from the different books messed up in my head 😂
