This was a short story that focused on one night between an assistant and her boss. It had a lot of passion. It had a good level of heat that built up throughout the story. The chapters were short and the book was as well and I read it in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters it was a fun and spicy story.

I want to know more. I need more. I demand more. I feel like I’ve had a sexy one night stand and I don’t even know their names.

Older couple. Colleagues. I tried to go through my memory bank of Suanne book characters to see if they popped up before but nope, I drew a blank.

So unnamed man and unnamed woman take a bow, that was a marvellous performance.

I never read short stories or stand alone Novellas because it’s hard for me to connect in such a short period of time but Suanne Laqueur has changed that. A glimpse into a relationship at the exact start of when the occasional flirty banter at work turns into so much more. It’s mostly one night - one night of incredible, intense sex. Like always the writing is superb. (One of the best orgasm descriptions ever.) This was absolutely perfect.

“Her back arched as an explosion rocked her pelvis, made all the feeling leave her hands and feet, made every cell in her body detonate with blue and white feathered shivers, and reduced the entire universe to nothing more than two pleading, primitive words.
Fuck. Me.”
