There aren't any pictures in the Kindle version of this book so it's less of a cookbook and more a series of recipe cards.

The soup ingredients and directions are fine. Reading this made it really clear how easy it is to make soup and the book doesn't really have any hearty soups with a lot of veggies or mixed meats or complex seasoning flavor profiles. I guess it's fine for a beginner, but if you've ever made soup from scratch before, they you already know or could easily have stumbled on these recipes and combos on your own.
