I like how Nix creates a very different character with his own world within the world. Great adventures with good friends.

Continuing a nostalgic reread and still very delighted. Adventurous and a bit tense, Arthur’s journey into the pit do a great job of continuing the story of a boy who is a reluctant main character but eternally chooses to be kind.

Couldn't get into this one as much as the first book in the series. The focus seemed to be more on the weird stuff going on and not enough about the characters.
